A lovely splurge
I treated myself to a luxurious set of needles, these are really special. The feel of the needles is great, they do not make my hands tired and sore as some others do. The Box is done very nicely and is quite elegant. These are not needles that you would hang up on a wall, everything about them feels to special. The sharp points are great for the kind of knitting that I do. Love these.

Such a beautiful presentation. I could not resist this set. I love the Karbonz needles for their beauty and perfection. They make knitting a pleasure - no snags or drag - just knitting as it is meant to be - relaxing. Handsome Fibers is my source for all my needles now.

Wonderful set!
I bought these for a splurge birthday present for myself six months ago through HF's Etsy shop (hi there!), and I adore them. I've almost entirely stopped using my wooden needles in favor of these. A few things to note: -They are interchangeable with all of the Knitter's Pride cables, as well as any and all KnitPicks (and Lykke, it seems) cables. The metal portions on the needles in this set, though, are a lovely silvery-blue, which match the cables that come with them, but not other cables (and even smaller needle tips) from the aforementioned companies companies. It's not anything to take a star away because of it, but if you're someone that needs 100% matching, it's something to be aware of. -The needles in this set are *much* more hefty and more substantial feeling than the straight Karbonz needles, for some reasons. I guess it might be because they wanted to make the straight needles more balanced and lightweight, while the interchangeable tips don't need the same qualities as much. I like that they feel more substantial and less whippy/giving, but I also like the straight needles' feel, but the difference was surprising when I first picked them up. -The carbon part is somewhere between laminated birch and Chiaogoo metal needles in terms of grippiness, which makes them a great workhorse for most yarns. Super-slippery yarns (like alpaca or cashmere) are a bit difficult to work with because they move a little too freely along the carbon portion still. On the other hand, super-grippy yarns might be a bit difficult to use because the needles aren't as smooth as metal ones. But hey, that's why we have multiple types of needles in our arsenals, right? ;) -The metal tips are not very pointy and are *very* slippery. They aren't very good for super-intricate lacework, and they can potentially cause you to drop stitches or cause you to try to grab the yarn a couple of times before managing to complete a stitch until you get used to them. On the flip side, stitches come off easily once you *do* get used to them, which means you don't need to push the yarn off of them with your fingers. -The joins seem to be on-par with other Knitter's Pride et al.'s interchangeables. You *will* need to use the key to tighten the cord onto the needles, but they stay put together relatively well. I think I've only had to tighten them a few times, and most of them were probably user error. :) tl;dr: I really do love this set, and I recommend them to everyone.
