Very Nearly Perfect
I am in love with Zing needles! They are (for me) the perfect marriage of pointy tips, without being TOO pointy; slick, without being TOO slippery, and very reasonably priced! I can afford ALL of them! My only wish for Zing needles, is that Knitter's Pride begin making the fixed circulars in a 9" variety for us crazy sock knitters. Are you listening, KP, please? These needles are lightweight, semi-warm to the touch (not cold like steel), very smooth, both at the join and all along the shaft, and just pointy enough to work all your K2Tog's and like that, without poking a hole in your finger. If you have any doubts that a needle can be this good, purchase just one, in your favorite size and give 'em a knit. I think you'll be coming back for more!

A knitter
I have been using the 40 inch size 1 (2.25 mm) needles to make socks using magic loop. The cord is very pliable and works great for magic loop. The tips are just right. They slip under the stitches easily, but not so sharp that they split the yarn. The price is fantastic. No worries about snapping the tiny needles, because it's metal, not wood.
