These 9 inch bamboo circulars (sizes 3 and up) have a smooth join and flexible cable that swivels! Sizes 0-2.5 have the same type of metal cable as the RED circulars, no red coating and do not swivel.

The cable on the US 2 is a braided stainless steel with a nylon coating. I would say that they are a little less flexible than the nylon monofilament cables on the larger sizes, but they are still plenty flexible. The metal cables also have no memory.

The tip is approximately 2 1/8 inches from tip to join.

That will really depend on what weight of yarn you're using, but for fingering weight most of our customers use the US 1, 1.5, or 2. For worsted weight we would recommend a US 6 or 7.
