ChiaoGoo Blue X-Flex (Extra Flexible) (S) Join Cables

Question

Q: I want to make my own flexiflips out of Chiaogoo needles and cables. Please tell me what all I need to purchase. Refer to the Addi Flex Flips if you need too. Thank you.

Q: I have both the 4" and 5" full sets and I am looking to create double point flexible needles (something similar to Addi Flexi Flips) that can be used with my sets. Can I use the blue flex cables along with the connectors I currently have, or do I need to purchase other connectors?

Q: Is this product in stock? Web page says it is, but then also says there is a waiting list for 5- and 6-inch twist cable, which confuses me a bit. I'm looking for the 2-inch cable in S. Thank you kindly!

Q: Just verifying - do the blue x-flex fit the Twist needles that came with the red cables? Also, are there Blue x-flex for the L sizes?cables

Hi Gwen,

You will need a total of (6) 3 inch ChiaoGoo Stainless steel tips plus the one pack of cables to make 3 flexible dpns's like the addi FlexiFlips. The cables are 3 to a pack.

ChiaoGoo 3 inch tip sizes US-000 (1.5mm) thru US-3 (3.25mm) have a MINI (M) join and use the 2 inch ChiaoGoo Mini (M) Red Twist cables.

ChiaoGoo 3 inch tip sizes US-4 (3.5mm) thru US-8 (5mm) have a Small (S) join and use the 2 inch ChiaoGoo Blue X-Flex (S) cables.

You don't need any connectors - just the 2" cables and 3 pairs of tips. These blue 2" cables are the (S)mall join and will work your (S)mall join tips.

Hi Josie, You can add these to your current (S) join cable with one of the ChiaoGoo (S) connectors to get a little more cable length for your project. You can also make flexible double point needles with your ChiaoGoo interchangeable tip sizes US-2 through US-8 with the (S) Join. Thank you for asking. Tracy, Handsome Fibers.

Hi Nancy, The new ChiaoGoo Blue X-Flex cables have (S) or small join connections on the cable ends. These cables will fit Twist or Spin tips in US sizes 2 through US-8. There are no "L" or large join Blue cables manufactured at this time. Thank you for asking. Tracy, Handsome Fibers.
