Q: Do not see warranty information for the Chiaogoo knitting needles. Do they have a warranty?

Q: I'd like to purchase the Lace twist interchangeables, but am undecided whether to go for the 4" or 5" model. I'm leaning towards the 4" as it would be great not to have to buy separate 16" needles or hats, but I'm anxious there will not be enough grip room. Do more folks buy the 4" or 5" sets? (I have a single 5" circular lace twist, but it looks like you can't purchase a single circular of the 4" to try.

Most people prefer the 5" tips for general knitting. We do have the 4" tips available piecemeal.

Usually, I recommend going with the 5" set and adding in 4" tips in the size(s) you use most commonly for hats (for me that's a US 8) and an 8" cable.

Otherwise, if you knit mostly hats or cowls you might choose the 4" set to start with and add in 5" tips as needed.

Hi Veronica,

The ChiaoGoo tips that are labeled as Twist "Lace" tips have the sharpest and pointiest tips. The ChiaoGoo Regular Reds (circulars only) have regular tips. Not as sharp or pointy as the lace tips in the interchangeables and fixed circulars.

You will want to stick with the lace tips for the sharpest points.

Yes, these are the shorter tips and they are what you would use with an 8" cord to knit hats in the round.

The tips on these interchangeables measure 4" and are most definitely longer than those on an 11" circular. The smallest circular you can make with these tips is 16".
