A: Hi Iris, In general, prices increase depending upon the needle size or option selected in the product drop down selector box on products with multiple sizes, lengths, etc. The smallest size or option will show up on the product page as the lowest price (base price). Q: What size cables can only be used with the 5" US1 Lace Twist interchangeable needles? What is the maximum cord length that is available for these needles? My small cables are too large, is there a connector to go from small to mini.

A: Hi Catherine, You will need to use the ChiaoGoo Mini (M) join Twist cables located here: https://www.handsomefibers.com/ChiaoGoo-TWIST-MINI-IC-Cables Yes there is a 30 inch Mini (M) cable available. Q: How is the length measured? From tip to top of join?

Q: Hi, hope you can help me with this. I'm driving myself crazy trying to figure out this dilemma. I just bout the Chiagoo complete 5" interchangeable set. It's wonderful, but I am sure I will need at least some 4" tips so I can make hats. Do you think I should buy another complete set in 4" or buy individual tips? If individual which ones, which ones would you suggest?

A: We would recommend purchasing just the 4" tips and 8" cables piecemeal. If you'll be making hats with worsted weight yarn we would suggest sizes US 6, 7, and 8 as the most frequently used.

Q: Do you know if the ChiaoGoo twist IC tips would screw onto KnitPicks IC cables? I have a KnitPicks set of rosewood ICs but need sharper tips for a shawl I am knitting. Love the ChiaoGoo circulars! Thanks.

Q: Just needed clarification on 4" tip and cable compatibility. If I wanted to purchase a 4" tip would any of the "S" cables over 8" be compatible?

A: Good morning, Yes they will work just fine as long as your tips are a "S" join size for tips sizes US-2 through US-8 or using a "L" cable with US tip sizes 9 through 15. Using 4 inch tips with longer cables other than the 8 inch cables will only result in your circular being two inches shorter. For example, using 4 inch tips with a 14 inch cable will result in a 22 inch circular. Thank you for asking. Tracy, Handsome Fibers.
