A: To make a 16" circular you will need 4" tips and an 8" cable. You can NOT make a 16" circular with 5" tips. Attaching them (the 5" tips) to the 8" cable will make an 18" circular and you'll barely be able to bring the tips together to knit with.

A: We have ChiaoGoo 6" cables available in Mini and Small joins. The Mini cables are red and the Small cables are the Blue X-Flex.

To work with Large join tips you would need the L-to-S Adapter and the Blue X-Flex cables. Your needle tips will also need to be 3" or shorter to make a functional circular.

A: We have many customers who purchase these cables to use with their Boye tips. However, we don't have any experience here with that combination and can't advise you on it. I would recommend checking with the lovely knitters at knittingparadise.com to confirm that your Boye tips are compatible.
